This e-portfolio as a whole is an example of my knowledge in writing and digital layout and design. Being that we were to create and design a personal portfolio for future career and prospective employers. I utilized the basis of a Wix preset but changed it drastically to fit my theme and personality.
In this previous year, I have undergone a class called Writing, Editing, and Print Online here at FSU. In this specific project, we were to mimic a profile done by a specific publication. The publication I chose to mimic was the Wall Street Journal.
In this course devoted to rhetoric, we did an assignment in which we were to mimic a rhetorician view's on a current issue or topic. This project also allowed me to showcase my design skills as well.
Here, we were to digitally design a website and an ad for a topic that we were to create a blog post on. This ad here shows my skill in digital design with the use of Canva as my editing software.
This is my personal logo which can be seen on the heading of my website as well as my cover letter and resume. I used Adobe InDesign to create this and the software's knowledge of color codes to keep the same color theme throughout.
This here is a photo I found from Creative Commons labeled with rights for reuse and remix. The original photos stated some inappropriate language and profanity, in which I was able to use Adobe Photoshop to change the tone of the photo and white out the words on the page.
